staying at Poi Pu

Post by paulandtracie »

Finally decided on lodging for our upcoming late March trip, we are staying at Poi Pu. I had to smile reading the thread about mahojim's friends looking for the 'perfect' villa, as we used to do the same. This time I turned to my new friend bigcheeze, who hooked us up right away. This trip we are on a budget, got a great deal and are very happy. I am a big fan of more traditional, older houses and am thrilled at the outdoor showers and the fact that the house opens completely to the outdoors. If the fridge keeps the rum cold and the chairs on the decks are comfy, we'll be over the moon. It is currently minus seven degrees here in Michigan and we are counting the days until STJ!

Stayed at Poi Pu about 10 yrs ago, it is very basic but everything worked. As long as you look at it as a budget trip, it's fine. It was very quiet at the time. If you have any questions, I will be glad to give any feedback I can remember.
