Honeymoon Beach/Caneel Resort

Post by Sharkbait »

Just came across a video of Honeymoon Beach. Yeah, I wanna go there. I know it's $10 to park for access through the Resort. Is it appropriate for four of us to be cruising through the Resort with our chairs and coolers or would it look like the 2nd coming of the Clampetts?????

Or is taking the trail (Lind Point???) doable with chairs and coolers. We're going even if it is just to walk down for a quick swim but looks like a nice spot to spend the day.

Thanks for help. More questions soon come I'm sure.

Welcome to Clampetville.

We park at the resort every year and dothe 1/4 mile walk on mostly paved/dirt road that skirts around the main area of the resort. We set up camp we when get to the beach and snorkle just to the right ...afterwards we go to the resort bar and get a drink and get the parking validated. One of our fav beaches

Have Fun,Dave

Don't worry- we have shown up at Caneel after a day out on all kinds of beaches, hiking, etc, to have a drink and watch sunset from the upstairs patio at the bar. We may get a second look, but they always let us in
