Wanted to share a panorama real quick

Post by jmhouse »

This is probably suitable for a Friday post, but who cares. I took the shots for this last June but never stitched them together, until yesterday.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jmhouse/53 ... /lightbox/" title="Maho/Francis Bay Pano by matt house, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5245/537 ... e3f0_b.jpg" width="1024" height="340" alt="Maho/Francis Bay Pano"></a>

Hope everyone has had a great weekend.

I used the Photomerge feature in Photoshop. There are free options though, such as Autostitch. Also most Canon cameras come with a stitching program on the software disc.

That is beautiful.

So what's the view we're looking at in the photo?

This is from the overlook on the North Shore Rd looking down at Maho and Francis Bays.

Great shot! You were my inspiration last year to stitch a panorama over Leinster and Waterlemon- just like the one you posted. Love it! Can't wait to take more this next trip. Just got Aperture- hoping it has a good stitch program- haven't loaded it yet

Beautiful photo and great job on the stitching. I can't see where the transitions are.
