Bushwakers and Pain Killers

Post by ronbo3107 »

When we were there last year I bought a book that had the recipes to these and somehow it never made it back to the states with me. I know we only have 6 weeks till were there again but i'm getting cabin fever. Does anyone have any good recipes for these?

I have the Painkiller recipe memorized:

4 parts pineapple juice
1 part OJ
1 part Coco Lopez
2-2.5 parts (to taste- I slant towards 2.5) dark rum (Pusser's is the original, but Cruzan dark also works- so does Captain Morgan).

Sometimes to lighten it up I take out the Coco Lopez (gasp!!) and throw in a dash of coconut rum. Alters the taste slightly, but still good!

I often buy six packs of the small pineapple juice cans- one can works for one drink.

Is that sad????
