Another silly question....we have always wanted to check out the Westin...we probably aren't going to stay there, but can you go to the Westin for a day? To check out the pool and beach there? Maybe they have a fee or a day pass type thing? The kids would love it I am sure!

I bet you can call them directly to ask. We have gone there for a few hours at a time and hung out there without staying there, but we are timeshare owners- I think that allows us to go. We never said anything and they were always very nice- we just paid our bar tab with a credit card. However, I know they have signs posted that say pool and beach chairs and towels are "for guests only".
However, the beach is public- you can go there anytime- and the parking is free near the deli and workout facilities.
Someone else to ask- Sue Brandi (Captain John of Palm Tree Charters' wife) works at the pool activities hut there and knows EVERYTHING!

If you want to do a Westin Timeshare tour please let me know as I can book one for you - you will receive $125.00 in Sanddollars to be used at many stores on STJ (think ZoZo's, car rentals, boat rentals etc), the use of the beach and pool for the day, lunch or breakfast and use of their gym
