Every trip we take we do atleast one meal at The Lime Inn...LOVE Cafe Roma and Skinnys as well...I'm a fan of High Tide...LOVE the location...We did Woodys take out one afternoon...it was good...and we love Deli Grotto for any type of sandwich...breaksfast/lunch...doesn't matter...its all good...I have to be honest, though...EVERYTHING tastes better on St John...
Favorites we never miss...
1) Garlic Chicken and Fritter at Vie's Snack Shack (lunch only)
2) Lobster Roll at Tourist Trap
3) Skinny's Cheeseburger - slice o'cheddar, slice o'pepper jack, paradise.
4) Big Fan of Beach Bar food too as mentioned above...Tuna down under, Mahi Sandwich
5) Uncle Joe's BBQ - Ribs and Chicken (lunch)
6) Deli Grotto - Sunshine Day Dream (not exactly the manliest sounding breakfast sandwich going, but it'll kick a McMuffin right in the buns)
7) The Chicken Roti at Foxy's or Soggy Dollar's over on Jost Van Dyke
Lobsters at Lime Inn...slice of the Key Lime Pie too
9) Shipwreck - Whatever the Catch Du Jour is
10) Deli Grotto lunch sandwiches to go....New Yorker, yo, it's good.
If you like beer, I think you'll enjoy the Tap Room...decent root beer too if you've got the kiddos in tow.
And the ultimate...Foxy's famous Saturday night BBQ over on JVD...it's not a meal, it's an adventure. I suggesting wearing something a forgiving waistband.

It’s not about yesterday or tomorrow...It’s about today, for come what may – Sun, rain, or hurricane – we've only time for a smile, and none for sorrow
Sorry one more...I'd be remiss if I didn't second your vote for Rhumb Lines. They've got something call Scott's Szechuan Tuna...not sure who Scott is, but he makes a mean tuna.
Oh, and friendly warning, if it says "spicy" on the menu, they're not kidding. They've got some noodles you have to coat your tongue in candle wax first before eating.
My pain, your gain.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I did have those spicy noodles/Pad Thai at RhumbLines...my eyes watered during the whole meal but I loved it!
We ate a Skinny's last time and while the food was good, the service was horrible..not just "island time" but they fogot about us and 2 other tables in our section. There were some very unhappy patrons that day!!
LaPlancha is definitely on the list now.
What are your thoughts on Asolare? I never knew much about it but my friend (who is tareling with me) said her doctor raved about it and said she eats there every trip and that we must try it. Agree? or no?

Kristen, we just returned last night
We loved La Plancha as always but their new location is fabulous!
We also ate at Sweet Plaintains in Coral Bay. I recommend adding that to your list too but be sure to get a reservation.
We eat out twice a day and had great meals!
Here is our list:
Breakfast:
Donkey Dinner - yum!
Miss Lucy's Sunday Brunch - service was horrible this trip but food was wonderful
Lunch:
Beach Bar - great food and bartenders
Banana Deck - love the greek salad with jerk chicken and husband loves the mahi sandwich
Deli Grotto - wonderful sandwiches to bring to the beach
Dinner:
Banana Deck - ate there New Year's Day and was very surprised at how good it was
Shipwreck Landing - had dinner here 3 times and loved it!
Cafe Roma - great josephine greens salad and chicken parm
Cactus Blue - food was good but not as good as our last visit.
Morgan's Mango - we had a good experience this trip.
Rhumblines - in addition to the great food, they make a great margarita and I love Sunday nights there with T Bird singing.
We also ate at Skinny's and thought that the burgers weren't as good as previous trips.
Have fun!
