I think we will leave that Friday too. Have to return 12/1. We will be staying at Gallow's Point. I haven't formally booked yet because we are also going in 46 days!!! :D

Most people that go to the east side of the island, Foxy's Taboo and the Bubbly Pool arrive by boat. I'm not sure how long it would be to take a taxi nor the price but I'm thinking it won't be on the cheap. Also keep in mind that The Bubbly Pool isn't "bubbly" unless the north swells are big. Maybe this would be something you could decide after you get there and check the conditions. If you wanted to try to do White Bay and the east end the same day, I would stop at WB last so you are not stuck on the east side and miss the ferry. You also might want to check out JVD Watersports web site. They offer an eco tour to Sandy Cay/Spit and then the Bubbly Pool if time allows. I e-mailed them twice to try to find out if I could arrange a half day tour that would work around the ferry schedule. Haven't heard back not that I find that unusual for somewhere like JVD. I could call, but I'm just going to check it out after I get there and maybe do something like that the next trip. Really though, as first timers there, I don't think you would tire of White Bay in that short of time. It is one gorgeous piece of beach.
