Happy Holidays wonderful forum,
As a long time fan of the site and infrequent poster, I would love to tap the collective wisdom of the presiding STJ brain trust in the form of villa recs...the particulars if you will indulge me:
Travelers - (5 total) Two couples in their athletic, adventurous 30's who have been to STJ previously plus one shark loving marrow of life sucking six year old making his long awaited STJ debut...so 3 BR's is probably preferred, but my kiddo is couch tested and mom approved, so we could also live with 2 BR's.
Time Frame - One week in early to mid-June
Prereqs - A/C in the bedrooms, a pool, and we'd like to be high up with big sweeping views
Price - Hoping for something around $3,000...might be a tad low, but seemed doable in the low season
Location - Anywhere on island really...we've never stayed on the Coral Bay side, but we're thinking it would be ideal for this trip...Skinny's, Vye's and the T-Trap are our favorite restaurants and though I readily admit to loving frozen concoctions from The Beach Bar more than life itself, with a six year old in tow, I don't see closing down the Cruz Bay bars in the cards on this trip.
My sincere thanks in advance and best to you all in the new year.

villa suggestions
can highly recommed Casa Bueno near Coral Bay; stayed there last summer; 3 BR's, full a'c, pool, etc.
can also recommend Sago Palms; 3 Br's, a/c in BR's, greatest views ever; totally private but the drive to the villa can try anyone's patience and skills; so worth it!
last but not least also recommend Amani; 3 BR's plus separate guest cottage, pool, ac in BR's
good luck!!!

We stayed at Splendore with a toddler and two couples. Either master is big enough for a travel bed or roll away for the 6 yo. (I would not recommend the 3rd room for a 6 yo) Awesome views, great pool deck, huge kitchen. It was the best outfitted and equiped house we rented on STJ. Convenient to town.
Good stuff
Faith in forum confirmed...thanks for all the good tips so far.
Liked Sago Palms to, right up until that whole 16 and over rule. Stupid rules, maybe they won't notice that my six year old is missing a decade. After all, he's very tall for his age already dreams of driving on the left side.
Thanks again for the tips. Sewing up the villa is step one and then the dominos (flight, car rental, excursions, etc.) fall quickly after that. Next thing you know, you're doin' Cruzan shots with strangers in the airport. Warms me up just think about it.

Moonswept is a beautiful villa on the Coral Bay side. It is a fairly large 2 bedroom with spectacular views and excellent tradewind breezes that are constant to keep it cool after a day of adventure! I have not stayed there, but I have taken the grand tour of Moonswept and can certainly attest to the views and tradewinds because we own the neighboring villa sun moon & stars. I can say with confdence that you would not be disappointed!
