St. Thomas recommendations

Need your help! After years of listening to me rave about STJ, my sister is planning on traveling down to the USVI at the end of January. She is not a huge water person so is reluctant to spend a whole week on STJ. She thinks STT will be more to her taste - more to do than snorkeling and beach. I am looking for some recommendations on places to stay. I think they like a resort atmosphere - nice accomodations but not too expensive. They may want to split time between both islands.

Secret Harbor, nice beach, near town of Red Hook and ferry to St. John. Best of both worlds

Have her look at Emerald Beach - great beachfront rooms and view -- nice pool - great beach - close to town - cheap taxi to Frenchtown for dinner - nice, clean , price right rooms - not a fancy place but very friendly staff.
