Helping a newbie friend find a villa...

Post by mahojim »

After doing some research and coming up with a few groovy options, I thought I'd take it a step further and turn to you fine folks for a little more help.
In search of-
2 bedroom villa
Coral Bay/ East End
A.C. (ok if just in the bedrooms)
Pool
$1500.00- $2200.00
May 7-14,2011
I remember there were a couple of homes past Bayhouse & Seabiscuit further up the road from Crabby's, but I can't remember names...
Any help would be great. I'm looking forward to this couples' first trip to STJ, it'll be the week of their 30th anniversary.
Thanks, and always
Smiles-
MJ

If they can stretch the budget just a bit, we loved Rhumb Runners! Up the road from Crabby's -- almost the top one (fun drive!) and the road is paved all the way. 2 upstairs inner access bedrooms each with a bathroom; 1/2 bath on the main level. Great people to work with; the owners live on STT and the wife works at the Myra Keating medical center. Really outstanding views from the porch. Nice pool. We were there just about a year ago right after Christmas (sigh... wish we were going back!) You or they can ask me Qs if they have any, and I have some pictures too.

I think one of the villas we passed on our way up the hill was Dos Palmas. Didn't go in and see it, but it's in that area you're talking about up the road from Crabby's.

"newbie" friends-villa possibility

we can recommend Casa Bueno; stayed there last summer, and since that was our 8th straight year in STJ, we have a lot to compare it with; great location just 5 minutes from North Shore beaches and 5 minutes from Coral Bay; can't remember the exact rental rate but you can find it on VRBO; hope this helps!
