They showed the owners taking the Westin ferry. A little "staged," I thought it, but it might have made a more idyllic TV impression than the "real" ferry, which is a bit more chaotic.

Thank you all for the encouragement and positive reviews. We did not receive advance notice for the show from HH so many of our friends and family missed it but it can now be viewed on HGTV.com under House Hunters International episodes and on TV January 11 at 930pm est. With the show, plus Caribbean magazine's poll results this week declaring St John to be the "Best Island To Live On" and "Best National Park", we feel fortunate indeed to have found "Magic"

Billy and Toni:

When Kate and I watched the show we were particularly touched about how emotional you were at the end of the show. We looked at each other and said "they seem like nice people". It's nice to see people that so obviously appreciate the "magic" in obtaining their dreams. As you said you worked hard and saved for years to make this come true. Well done. Congrats and enjoy.

John and I have HHI on our DVR auto-record and finally saw this episode tonight. Congratulations you guys! I love the makeover you gave to the house.

Billy and Toni---Congratulations on the house! I'll eco the other comments about what a wonderful job you did refurbishing Magic View. Also, it was great to see how emotional it was for both of you to achieve this dream.

Billy & Toni,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase of your "magic" villa. I had tears streaming down my cheeks at the end of the episode because I could truly imagine how overwhelmingly emotional it would be to have a dream house on "my" island. Well done. I hope you share many great memories with the people you love in your new home.

All the best!

We were happy that the episode kept viewers guessing which one we would pick until the end. All three were great properties. What the show did not reveal, was that Toni and I looked at a lot more - 18 properties in 24 hours! I had spent months on the internet identifying properties to put on our "short" list and then time on the phone with Deb Hayes developing a strategy to allow us to see them all in one day. She was great and up to the challenge. "Magic" was the last villa we looked at and was not on my list;Deb added it last second. And Toni actually wrote the down payment check while bouncing in the back of Deb's car rushing to catch the ferry before it left us stranded. But the basic events are true. HH was a huge time commitment for our family. Five 8 hour days of taping, but worth it. Our hearts were definitely in it. Billy
