Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone

Just wanted to wish everyone out there a very Happy Thanksgiving. I know that there are a lot of folks out there that are still hurting from this economy and wonder what is there to be thankful for. I know, I was one of those people last year, but then I realized – there was a lot to be thankful for. Don’t ever discount family, friends and your forum friends. It is these good people that we have in our lives that we should be thankful for and a lot more. Life is hard right now, but we have our dreams. Some of us (me included) can’t even imagine when we’ll get back to the islands. But it is through other’s trip reports and pictures that we can picture ourselves there. So – be positive, stay healthy and have a great holiday.

To all of you on Island for Thanksgiving, please show some food porn pics of what you all had for dinner. And how hard or easy it was to prepare away from your usual surroundings.

Thanksgiving of course is about giving thanks.

Things are not always perfect – far from it. However, I am thankful for what I have and for the fact that you play a part in making my life better. The ups and downs of the forum keep me centered. I appreciate the feelings, suggestions, and observations that come from everyone.

I hope you enjoy your few days off with football, movies, r&r, shopping, reading, exercising, or anything else that may help refresh and enjoy your time.

I hope you and your families are blessed this Thanksgiving and always.
