Suzi - to elaborate more on Cat's (my sister) post, Ristaba is a great villa. We rented the house and the cottage.
My favorite part of the villa was the upstairs outside covered porch. I spent the large majority of my time there.
The kitchen is small and could get crowded, but like Cat said, it served it's purpose. The dining area and den are very open. The bedrooms in the main villa are all downstairs and two open out onto the lower deck. Those two had outside/garden showers. I can't remember if the other two did or not as we stayed in the cottage.
The pool was VERY deep. I could only stand up in the shallow end right near the steps but I am only 5'4"; my SO is 6 feet and he could go alot further before being underwater.
The bedrooms are all air conditioned, and we used it. We were there during the summer, and it did get hot. The villa company did not have the a/c on or the sliding doors opened when we got there so it was really hot, but once we opened the doors and let the breezes flow, it was fine.
The hot tub is over by the cottage with not much of a view so I think we only used it once.
It is VERY convenient to town and also the Westin if you want to use their stuff. You can actually see the Westin below from the porch.
If you are renting the cottage let me know, and I'll tell you about that as well, or if you have any questions, let me know, and I'll try to help.
