I vote hedgehog.
I see a lot of porcupines where I live (in the yard and as roadkill) and they aren't nearly that cute. Different coloring and facial structure.

I always thought hedgehogs & porcupines were the same animal!

Porcupine quills are really long, 6+ inches along the back and are rather sharp with a barb on the end so if one does get yabbed, the quill sticks under your skin. (like a fish hook) Curious dogs with noses full of porcupine quills are a common "problem" in the PA woods. Labs seem to be effected most often.
