will no one help me?!?

Post by Capn Dan and Ruby »

I have asked before, and no one responded. I would love to get a ticker, but just can't figure out how to do it. I know it has to be easy and I am just stupid, but that is just how it is.

I have tried also, no luck. Maybe someone will take pity as I set it all up, looked really good, but couldn't get it to post. Laura :?

Here's your answer! On every ticker there is a web address, like tickerfactory.com. So find someone's ticker that you like and click on their ticker to go to that website and put one together for yourself. At the end of the choices you make, they will give you the code to paste into the "signature" box in your profile.

Here are a couple of ticker places to check out:

www.tickerfactory.com
http://www.ticker.7910.org/eng
http://www.ezticker.com/

I found mine on a Disney site by Googleing "countdown ticker"

One simple last step that took a dummy like me a little while to realize, you need to check the "Attach signature" box above the "preview" and "submit" buttons.

Thanks for the extra hint, BuffaloGal. That may be the reason I never got my ticker to work before our last trip. Hope to be able to set one up soon.

Excellent point, BuffaloGal! Mine has been checked from the very beginning so I never think about it.

I'm glad you have received some expert advice! I have a ticker, but I basically have to get someone to walk me through the process, so I'm not much help to others. I hope to see your ticker soon!
