Deciding between 2 villas for our 10 year anniversary

Post by SusanNJ »

My husband and I are will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary so we are willing to spend a little more money next year. I am looking at 2 villas - Isla Vista (which I mentioned is for sale, and Kaleidoscope). They are both going to be about the same but wondering which one would you do?

Kaleidoscope.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I'm not familiar with either villa but I wouldn't take a chance on a villa that's for sale. Have a great time!!!

Hmmmm...tough choice. Both villas are beautiful, but I'll go with Kaleidoscope too.

Can I come along?

What a nice choice to have to make. Both villas look wonderful.

When we visited Ditliff in May last year (and saw Kaleidoscope under construction) it was very windy (blow your hat off windy). Not sure I would like that, if its a constant strong wind.

I love the view at Isla Vista, overlooking my favorite little town of Cruz Bay. I have never been up in that area to see that view. I think I would pick Isla Vista. The villa and pool area looks so pleasant.

Happy trip planning!

Of you two I'd pick Kaleidoscope but if I was laying down that kind of $$$ I'd go for Upper Peter Bay myself.

Personally I wouldn't like that Debbie (the owner) might be staying in the apartment above the garage at IV so I would choose K for that reason - well that and that it is beautiful but so is IV :)

I think we'll go with Kaleidoscope - I did get a discount with IV but I like the idea of the outside areas being protected. With IV, if it rains you really can't stay outside. We're hoping to get another 2 people with us though to help out with the $$$.

Congrats on your 10 year! Kaleidoscope looks amazing.

Our 10 year anniversary is in May so we have to get planning for that trip - hardest thing is narrowing down who is coming with us.

Thank you. Hopefully we'll get someone to go with us - I think if I send some pictures of Kaleidoscope, it won't make it too difficult for someone to say yes. 8)
