BVI Day Trip

Post by jonjon »

]My wife and I are considering a Day Trip to the BVI. We would like to see the sights and do some snorkling. Who would you recommend and what itinerary?[/b]

Capt John Brandi of Palm Tree Charters is absolutely the best!! Last year we went to Indians, Norman Island, had lunch on the Willy T, then on to Soggy Dollar for beach time and of course painkillers!!! Check out Capt John's videos at www.palmtreecharters.com for more ideas. You'll have a blast!

Another vote for Captain John Brandi and Palm Tree Charters. As for itinerary, it just depends on how you want to spend your day. So many options!
Going "home" again October 26th!

Vote #4 for Captain John and Palm Tree. Awesome! He can get you around all over the BVIs. Just tell him what you're interested in- whether it's snorkeling, beach hopping, or Painkillers  he'll take you anywhere you want. We even got to Virgin Gorda with him once, had plenty of time, and still made 2-3 stops after, ending up at Soggy Dollar!

My family will be with Palm Tree Charters for the first time in 2 weeks. After reading reviews here, on tripadvisor and elsewhere I am confident it is money well spent.

I will post more details after my trip.

Re: Money well spent.

My wife told me she didn't care what it costs and didn't want to know because it didn't matter. Said it was the funnest day she had ever had on any vacation. And she doesn't even snorkel.

I know I go on and on about Capt John, but here is my top 10 list

1. He is a nice guy
2. The boat is comfortable and fast
3. I can do whatever the heck I want, and change my mind in the middle of it, which I tend to do
4. Every place we go, they know him, and really like him
5. Mic will take our order from him when the bar is packed so I never wait for a painkiller
6. The video I get after our trip is such a bonus!
7. He laughs at my jokes
8. He is from New England
9. He is a trustworthy captain
10. He is a nice guy
