STT rental

We are considering renting our vehicle on STT and taking the car ferry to St. John. What rental agencies do you recommend in STT? Who should we stay away from? And lastly where do I find info on the ferry schedule?

we've used dependable and they were wonderful--I know people have had some issues with one at the airport (is it budget?)
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

We like Dependable and Discount. Amelie gets good reviews for service and vehicles too.

If we get in late we go with Discount, they are open until 10 and have an office near the airport.

I just returned from St. John yesterday and we rented from Dependable on St. Thomas. We have rented from them several times without a problem and I would recommend them. I have used Budget - only once and will not do so again.
