Spirit Air out of Niagara Falls!

Just a heads up:

For any of you western NYers (like myself) or Canadians, Spirit Air has announced that they will be flying out of the Niagara Falls Int'l Airport starting the end of January. So while they have some middle of the night flights arrival/departure times, you can get to STT for possibly $69+ each way. At least that's what their website is showing today anyway.

Not sure if it's just an intro thing or what, but considering that normally out of Buffalo it's about $500/ticket Spirit's prices seem like something to check out.

Of course, knowing Spirit, that $69 gets you the right to enter the airplane. Seats, bags, legroom, bathrooms, air, etc are all extra.

With that said, I'm manning a 1-person campaign to bring Spirit to Raleigh.

yes - they do look dirt cheap !!
$219 roundtrip from Niagra Falls-STT Presidents week !
only hitch-
leave 1:55 AM
stop in Ft. Lauderdale for 6 hours
get to STT at 4:10
14 hour day, but worth it !!

I'll keep my drive to JFK for a non-stop for this year.
