One is the busiest number...

Post by augie »

...with apologies to Three Dog Night!

It seems like the day before vacation is always so hectic, and more than a little stressful (what am I forgetting?).

But it's mitigated by the fact that tomorrow evening we'll be watching the sun setting behind St. Thomas across Pillsbury Sound.

I think we can manage one day of a little extra stress for that!

Hope you have a great time! Can not wait to hear all about it!

I'm always stressed (in a good way) the day before I leave and I never sleep the night before even after nearly 20 years of going down to STJ. I guess it's because we have such an early flight out of Grand Rapids and the airport is an hour away from our house so I need to be up at about 2:30 or 3AM and I'm always worried that I'll oversleep. Anyway, I'm green with envy! I've got six months to wait! Have a wonderful time!

Same here! (except LEX is only about 3 minutes from my house). I'm going to avoid the super early morning this time by flying the first leg of our trip the night before, spending the night near the airport, then continuing to STT the next day. It won't get us there any earlier, but we should certainly make our connection and hopefully be more rested!
Augie, have a great trip! I love the day before...busy in a good way!

Diana2,we are from West Michigan also! Will be leaving early on Sunday from GRR for our 8th trip to St John. Since I get up very early for my work anyway, that is not a problem for me. Getting to bed early Saturday will be a problem.

I have the best intentions of providing some.

We'll see what happens, and what I'm allowed to report...
