This was taken with a 75mm-300mm zoom lens at 300mm. Then an aggressive crop to get it framed like I wanted it.

Very very cool. I noticed the moon seemed huge last evening.

You even got a shot of the alien colony (that circle at the bottom) AWESOME! Those lines coming out of it? Their intricate flying car/highway system.

We saw an amazing moonrise last sprint in Emerald Isle. Just north/east (the directions there baffle me) of the pier, we watched a bring angry-red moon come up. To be honest, it freaked me out at first. Mind you, I was drunk at the time, but it was enough for me to have one of those "Wooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" moments.

Very cool picture. We had a good moon this weekend
