PLEASE help The ACC to Win - "How To Vote" Video

The Animal Care Center of St John is currently in a competition with other shelters around the world for monetary grants. All that is required for them to win is many, many votes from all who know their good work and who care for animals. Some of us have been voting daily.
Many more voters are needed... please vote each day until December 19.

A VIOL Forum Member and ACC supporter has produced a great tutorial video. I hope you will watch it (next post) and see how easily you can join the forces casting votes for St John's animals.

Hi RUTH!!!!

Depending on who you are doing it with,
it's not always easier the more you do it.
I decided to show the “hard way” in this video just to cover my bases.


See, not all browsers retain the
info from your last vote. In Safari when I go to the site
it shows the ACC already listed and all I have to
do is hit “vote”. In Firefox I have to search for the shelter every time.
(But, since Firefox doesn't retain my voting info,
I can shut down and re-launch Firefox and vote again.
Every time I re-open Firefox and go to vote,
the site thinks it’s my first visit of the day so I get to vote again*).


*I'm voting half a dozen times a day.
Cheating? Perhaps. Do I feel bad about underhandedly
circumventing the process? Yes, ’til I see the little
faces of the seventeen cats in my yard waiting for us
to put the food out at the ACC station across the street.
Cat's, they make me do bad things....
If I get hauled in by the Shelter Challenge Police,
I’m sending all seventeen of ’em up the river,
I’m not taking the rap...

Wait a second, now there’s four cats on my bed and

It tells me to come back tomorrow... I have already voted. I just tried that for the first time.
I haven't been using Safari, but I'll give that a shot too. 2 computers x 2 browsers x 2 times/day = 8 votes!

Just voted with Safari for the first time... quit... restarted, but I was remembered there too.

And Cheryl, I doubt that you have ever been "forgettable"!
