I'm watching for VaGirl, rather than finishing last week's work. Cruz Bay looks nice, better than DC!

Yuck!

Oh, I really feel for you, with all that snow.
Last year, our spring looked just like that. This year it's totally different. This weekend we have had over 70F and sunny. Everyone is out in shorts and t-shirts and working in the garden. It's so nice!
Later next week, they say it's going to be around 40F and windy, rainy/snowy. Guess who is going to vacation on STJ then?

Just got back from the Beach Bar. I saw XIG and Chip and two of her friends (Melissa and I can't remember the other person's name). RJ from NJ was there and we hung out for a while. The music was fantastic.
I'm not going to rain on XIG's parade except to say that she met some new friends and took some interesting photos and that the moment when she saw Josh from Cafe Roma and her daughter Hannah (all grown into a lovely young lady) had us all teary-eyed.
I cruised the beach at one point looking for VaGirl, but I have to say, The Beach Bar for Sunday Jazz is kind of a hard place to seek out people you've never met. Plus, the music is so great I want to listen, so it's a little overwhelming for someone who doesn't get out much. There was a female singer wo sat in for a few songs who was AWESOME, but I missed the intro so I have no idea who she was.
Last I saw of XIG, they were headed to The Banana Deck. That's a good choice because you can still hear the music and still have conversation without yelling.
XIG is having fun and she's sunburned. All is well.
