Jeep not ready until 12pm?

After using STJ Car Rental for the last several years, they threw me a curve ball this morning. I was told they do not give out the cars until after noon. We have used them at least once a year for the last 7 years and never heard that one before. Our Jeep has always been ready when they open. She was very unpleasant about it. It would have been very easy to react the same way, but we stayed nice and told them we'll come back later. So much for being a loyal repeat customer...

Oh Well, guess we will wander around town and shop a bit until they decide they have our reserved Jeep ready.

We've always been told that Jeeps aren't available until after 12PM at St. John Car Rental. I suppose on some occasions there may be a vehicle ready for rental early but Noon has always been the time we've been told and we've been renting from St. John Car Rental for years and years.

Wander around, shop and have a bite to eat and chill.

It's not a big deal, but it's the first time they ever told us. I guess we just got lucky all the other times.

All's well that ends well.

Evidently the girl that I spoke with was in a bad mood. The boss came in right after I left and had a Jeep ready within 30 minutes. She was very nice and explained that noon is the policy, but they normally have the Jeeps ready earlier unless it is high season and all the Jeeps are out. Now that I know the policy, I won't expect the Jeep first thing in the morning.

There is one gal who works there who is in a bad mood most of the time. The other ladies are very nice and the manager is a very nice lady. I guess you met the worse one first this trip.

I think I did meet her! I went out of my way to thank her when we were checking the Jeep and she just rolled her eyes and scowled at me. LOL The Manager is the only one I had ever dealt with before today and she has always been very nice.
