I recall your husband was having his 50th on St. John earlier this year (yes, we met). It'll be only fair if you will have yours on the island, too . Hope everything will work out and you and your family will be smiling on St. John celebrating your 50th, loria. All the best!

yes, we are footing the bill for all--Haven't ever met him, but If Helle is in love with him, he must be special--originally they (helle and Mads) were going to stay with the kids, but it got complicated and it seems nicer to have them al come anyway! That way i get to be in one of my favorite places with my kids, Gord, and my lovely Danish daughter and her friend (who if he isn't nice will do the moonlight hike to Rams head with me..... )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We spent the 50th with DH. Buy a couple of more tickets and we'll spend your 50th with you too.

Did you look at the outlying airports and multi-stop tickets? Non-stop tix generally cost more.

Be sure you have your transportation to the airport arranged ahead of time.

We hope you have a great trip.

JIM

I wasn't going to say anything but since the subject was brought up. We just had to pay a STEEP price for our tickets in February from Dulles to STT; Not only that, our week is from Saturday to Saturday and we had to fly on Sunday to save $364.00 and get a direct flight. Never in my 11 years of flying to STT did we have to give up a day's vacation; not happy but since we're staying 10 days this time, I thought we could use the money we saved on the extra 3 nights on the island. Of course I will never forget the year we had to shell out $865.00 a piece for our tickets. I hope those days never come back.
