Need advice on using Priceline
Need advice on using Priceline
Have never used Priceline before but have to go overnight to Atlantic City later this month and figure that maybe we can take advantage of the excess room capacity there. AC is small enough that location is not critical, so whats the best way to play it in a resort town like that? How does it work best - do you just low ball the highest star rating or what? Any tips/pros/cons you can share would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you haven't checked out:

they are great resources to see ratings/prices bids won etc.
If you're not comfortable with the whole bidding thing, hotwire is useful because you can often figure out what hotel they're pricing.
good luck!

Thanks Brenda
Depending on what star level or resort you're looking at and what location you're bidding on you can really get narrowed down what place you might get. Those links are pretty informative. When using hotwire, if you cross reference to the tripadvisor rating that they list that can help too. Plus on hotwire the prices can vary from day/day or week/week. It's kind of a game which I enjoy but I'm sure can be irritating to others.
