help with photo for art class? not in a rush now....

Post by djmom »

Hi everyone,

I didn't know if anyone would be nice enough to share a photo of the Moravian church in Coral Bay.

I have my art class this morning and I googled forever last night and couldnt' find one with the steeple. I don't have to have the steeple, but I would love it. And then a prety background...

There is a painting by Kristen Maize that I LOVE, but I can't copy it (cheating) but I am using it as inspiration. A photo would be great to use to pull it all together.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I won't be selling it or anything...just learning oils now. I'm getting a lot better but not there...yet??

don't know that this is the view you want exactly but you can use it if you like.

I don't like this photo as well but it is more zoomed in if that helps.

Very cool angle Marybeth...thank you so much! I think I might be able to make this work! If nothing else, it is the first photo I have seen with the shutters unobstructed.

Thank you!

Now this is getting hard!

I didn't get to start much 'cause I was finishing something else, so I am not married to one yet...have only blocked it in so I can change.

I really like those colors lprof, is it really that pink? Or was it? (which is fine too...)

I like that photo too Margo, but I'm dyin' for a steeple. I might do #1 or #2 of lprofs, but clean up the wires and stuff.

Unless someone else has a full photo with building and steeple up close....

I'll also look at some other online pics and see if I can combine that picture Margo likes with the steeple in the correct position.

I know I could just put one anywhere, but if I am painting something I know, I want it to be fairly accurate...minus powerlines and ugly stuff!
