The Beach Bar - No Jazz?

I called The Beach Bar the other day, and was told there'd be no jazz on Sun, Sep 26, and I got the impression from the person on the phone that they wouldn't be doing jazz anymore!! I know in the past, they've suspended the jazz jam during the slow months of Sep/Oct, but they resumed in November. Does anybody know if they'll resume, and if so, when?

hmmmm, I don't know......that would be a shame if they didn't do jazz in the off season!

No more Sunday jazz at the Beach Bar is also what I heard. I heard a rumor of some other kind of band music for the late afternoon/evening with a changing lineup. I just got back so just getting up to speed. When I hear something definite, I'll post it here.....if it hasn't made it already. Jazz had a good run but may have run its course; however, the Beach Bar incarnation is just where it popped up after the old Mongoose restaurant closed to be remodeled into Ocean Grill & Deli Grotto so I would not be surprised to see it percolate up somewhere else in some form.
