I love both, but I love the jerk chicken sandwich at the Cinnamon restaurant. Ok, they are slow as molassas there-- but I like relaxing with a beer or two while we wait...the kids pet the cats...and I like to watch the other people completely freak out cause it takes so long to get a sandwich.

I like both beaches a lot, go to both each trip, but neither is my absolute favorite either.

2muchsnow - your second picture may reveal the big palm trees that appear to be photoshopped on the cover of this month's CT&L! Maybe they're really there! :?

I HEART Trunk...maybe because my husband and I were married there or because it is just ABSOLUTELY breath taking...Cinnamon is always a must as well...LOVE both beaches...

You gotta do Trunk - we go early, and on no, or very light cruise ship days.

Last visit I think there was only one ship in port and the crowd was light. The parking lot does fill up quickly, so early arrival is prudent.

Kristen - Jumbie is just to the west of Trunk, between it and Peace Hill. There's a small parking lot on the opposite side of the road and a short path down to the beach. Good snorkling and you can even swim over to Trunk if you're game...

The trick for using and enjoying both Trunk and Jumbie is arrive early, enjoy, go to lunch and either have villa time for the rest of the day or find a less crowded spot for the rest of the day. The Lameshurs, Haulover South or the hikeables; Brown's, Solomon, Honeymoon.

Then again we go to Trunk for evening cocktails. Sometimes we've even been included in wedding ceremonies.

Here's to you.

Kristen, it really depends on what you are wanting to do. If it's to sun and swim then Trunk is it. It's beautiful and is usually very calm. The snorkeling at Trunk is not so great, too many inexperienced snorkelers STANDING on the coral. Jeesh don't get me started. Now if sun AND snorkeling are equally important hands down it goes to Cinnamon. Snorkel around the cay in the bay and the rocks to right or go left and find the wrecked plane.

If you've never been to Trunk then you must go because it's absolutey gorgeous.

If your adventuresome go to Vie's for sun, snorkeling and solitude.
