SpiceCam...What is that I see

Post by Nancie-Pa »

Every time I check in with the SpiceCam I've noticed a boat shaped thingy buried in the sand on left side of picture. Is that someone's dinghy that didn't make it through Earl?
At first I thought "Why isn't anyone removing it?" But on second thought,it will give the kids something to play on while Mom and Dad are at "High Tides".
It is St.John after all!
Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.

Just got back from STJ and I looked at the remains of what I believe was the brave (if underinflated) yellow dinghy that I rooted for during Earl's visit! RIP little yellow dinghy :(

The yellow dinghy is gone. They took it out of the water a couple of days after Earl blew through. The motor is in pieces near Ocean Runner. Bye bye little boat. The other thing is the bottom part of a dinghy. Not sure who's that is...but it too was put there by Earl, and is mostly buried. I haven't seen anyone try to unearth it yet.

That is a remnant of the yellow deflated dinghy. I saw them take it apart via the web cam.

I've been wondering the past few days if the dinghy dock repair guy knows how many people are watching him. Good to see the dock taking shape again.
