Best place to purchase beverages?

Post by needmesomesun »

What do you consider the best place to pick up beverages? Anyplace worth mentioning on St. Thomas on the way to the ferry docks? Or is there one particular place on St. John that is best? How about the airport? We have always just purchased everything we needed on St. John, but have wondered what the best place is and if buying on St. Thomas is worth hauling stuff over...

I guess it depends on how many people , how long a stay and how many cases but if you are renting a car on STT stopping at CostUless will save you a lot vs. STJ prices.

If you don't rent your car on STT picking up stuff on STT can be a challenge.

I have always found the liquor prices at Pine Peace Market to be consistently among the cheapest on STJ.

We usually grab a couple bottles at the liquor store next to the baggage claim in the STT airport while we wait for the speedy luggage handlers to offload our plane. Decent prices based on our past experiences.

Does mean more to lug on the ferry though.

Thanks for the input. We've never stopped at the store in the airport. This is all good to know.

I have to agree with Gromit and second Pine Peace. The Cruzan $3+ cheaper at Pine Peace than on STT.

Pulley, exactly how much is the Cruzan at Pine? If you buy 4 bottles, you've saved your RT ferry fare from STT!

ms411 - I didn't pay for it but I'll find out. We have started renting our cars on STT and taking the car ferry. Talk about saving money!!!
