A few of you knew I've been in Alabama the past few weeks for the death of my precious Mother. Thank you forum friends who knew & sent me sweet messages. All the people here are so giving & so sweet even to those we have never met.

It's good to be back home & to some sort of 'normal'. Also good to be back to the forum & catch up on all I've missed. You guys are the best!!

today is my mother's 87th birthday and I'm grateful to have this day with her.

Oh Robyn I am so, so sorry. I didn't know. We are sending lots of love and prayers to you guys! You have always talked to sweetly and proudly about her- it's a testament to the kind of Mom she was!

I'm so sorry, Robyn. I don't think we're ever grown up enough to be walking an Earth that our mothers aren't. I lost my mom 20 years ago, and my heart goes out to you!

Robyn, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I still have Mom who at 84 still keeps me on my toes. May wonderful memories heal your heart.

So sorry for your loss. I, too, hope that memories will keep her with you for a very long time. I lost my own Mom when I was just 13 and miss her to this day but I look back at pictures and remember all the love I had for her and the love she had for me. That will never be lost. My deepest sympathies.

So many mothers with birthdays on 9/6. My mother celebrated her 68th yesterday. I hope your Mom celebrated a good birthday too Mary Beth.
