Here's a couple reasons to risk hurricane season. Call me selfish but ya can't beat a gorgeous beach with just you and you honey.

Thanks captkirk - those are great - you have the best photos - I would risk a hurricane for that beach too

It is very nice to have a beach to yourself, especially when they are as beautiful as the STJ beaches!! It amazes me when we are the only ones on the beach and the only thing I hear are my 3 boys laughing and playing..I forget for just a second there is a whole world out there.

I think I have some pictures like these from 12 years ago. Back then the beaches were/seemed much less crowded and almost deserted.
