Oh wait, I also wanted to say THANKS RUTH for helping the schools! And Thank you to all the visitors who come here and give of their time and money to help our teachers & students with these much needed supplies. Thank you all!!!

In all seriousness, yes thank you Ruth for giving all of us a reminder at the start of a new school year that we can all contribute a little something!

I hope to be back on island next month cuz I have a box full of goodies for the kids and lots of goodies for the ACC.

Ruth, does the Animal Shelter need anything that they can't get there?

Hey There,
This is the "Wish List" posted on the ACC website.
They also say you can call or email to see what they may need.
I know previously there was discussion about their need for pet carriers. I imagine they're not cheap because of shipping.
Maybe one would make a good shipping container for food and things that people send down ahead of their vacation instead of a box.
Of course monetary donations are always helpful and they offer a membership which will keep you informed.

Wow- somehow I missed this one when it first appeared. Thanks Ruth for the bump and the info.... and for helping! We'll be sure to bring lots of goodies for the kiddos in February- plus tons for the ACC.

Oh, and my kids would love to chase chickens. That should keep them occupied when we drop them off......
