A Few More Weeks Until Paradise

The countdown is on until my girls trip to STJ on September 2nd. This will be my 5th trip to St. John but haven't been back in 11 years (yes, I know - way too long!). We are staying at Villa Andrea in Virgin Grand Estates.

Thanks to everyone for giving such good advice here and for all the trip reports. I have learned so much from this forum.

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hey Betsymac!
I can't believe it's been 11 years since you've been to STJ!! You'll be shocked at all the new development! At least it will be low, low season for you with no crowds and easy parking

I see you are a fellow North Texan and just wanted to let you know that we have a VIOL Dallas group that has been meeting over the summer. We would love for you to come to our next gathering in November and hear about your girls trip! I'll keep you posted on the details this fall~

Hi Betsymac....welcome from another Dallas forum friend! Our Dallas VIOL has gotten together 3 times for dinner & STJ conversation already & have had a blast each time!
So glad you're going back to STJ; like msgcolleen said alot has changed in 11 years. Would love to hear your perspective on that too!
Anyway....welcome to the forum!

Thanks msgcolleen and Pianogrl for the welcome. I would love to come to your gathering in November. Happy to be going in September during low season but will be missing out on some of the great restaurants that will be closed.

I will definitely post a report and pictures!
