BB getting close!

We are sitting at Spyglass enjoying the view at lunch. Discovered the photobucket app for the iPhone so I snapped a shot of the Beach Bar. Ruth went down with us- we think they MIGHT be open tonight since they were restocking and cleaning! I am hoping our last dinner here tomorrow night will be there!!

Hmmmm. What's different with the BB? Did they paint or something? Looks the same.

Next to rain, I think a closed BB would be the next worse thing on my vacation to St. John.

At the risk of spoiling my last TR installment that I am working on, I have to say sitting at BB was AWESOME tonight! Whew- just barely got it on. And Colleen- the sunset was the best all week. Of course I took pics! Will be in the TR.

jayseadee- they redid the bar- slightly reconfigured it to make more space behind the bar and get rid of the weird place at the west end. They also partially redid the floor, and added a counter to the west end of the railing facing the beach. That's all I can tell. Same beloved BB to the naked eye. even my 6 year old said she was excited that they did not get rid of the flags

So Onthe beach......I think I might have seen you at the beach bar last night! My family was eating dinner right next to you...if that was you. I had 2 kids (and my hubby) with me...but all they wanted to do was play in the sand and the tree. Were you wearing a black beach bar shirt and taking pictures with a lovely fancy schmancy camera?
If so.....that was me sitting next to you and your family! Wow!

I agree...the beach bar does look nice!

We poked our head around to see if they were open but didnt stay. The kids were tired and worn out so we headed in for the night. Sorry we missed you all...

lluv- that WAS us! Can't believe that was you- didn't even think to ask- darn! Saw your kiddos playing all around ours. One of my favorite things about BB is the built in entertainment for the kiddos on that beach. Hope y'all are having a blast on JVD!!
