Sago Palms

Post by Muhaha »

Hi All,

Looking at returning this winter. Does anyone have any experience staying at Sago Palms? I am wondering if it is very private. I google mapped it, and it looks like there is a villa right next door.

Also, any general observations would be most welcome!

Muhaha,
we have stayed at Sago 3 times and loved it, but
it is changing. They have been building the villa
for years. They are hoping to be finished by
Christmas, but don't hold your breath. right now
I don't think it is very private when the workers
are there from 7-4. After that you are the
only one there. PM me if you have any questions.

What Wanda said-!
We stayed there last Nov., and LOVED it. Gorgeous home, incredible view, location & layout.
We didn't have any problems with privacy/ noise from the villa construction at all.
My advice?- Go for it!!!

We stayed there on our first trip to St John. It was FANTASTIC! We were totally isolated. At the time, the house next door was vacant, and the only other house on the hillside, Hawksview Estate, was being built. Glad to hear it is still somewhat private.

We've stayed twice and would do it again tomorrow. It isn't available too often when we want to go. We were last there in June 09. We weren't too bothered by the construction next door even though they were working at the time. It appears from what they are working to keep privacy intact once construction is finished.
