Good news for mossie haters

Post by Gromit »

...which is pretty much most of the known world.

Come to think of it I don't know one single person who loves mosquitoes :?

(Though I have no doubt SOMEONE will be happy to pipe up and contradict me).

Anyway.... the Department of Health has announced their spraying schedule.

Looks like STJ will be sprayed Aug 11. Spraying helps to cut down on mosquito borne illnesses like Dengue fever. Though it doesn't eliminate the threat completely.

During our last trip, I was very surprised (and pleased) to see Caneel's ground crews spraying every day. A guy with a backpack sprayer walked around every afternoon about 4pm.

The day we were at Honeymoon, a Caneel truck with a sprayer mounted in the bed went past twice.
