Looking for a church on St. John
I'll be on St. John for 5 weeks and would like to find a (fairly liberal) church to attend. Any advice from some of you residents? Thanks!
I am not religious so my reasons for going to a service are likely different than yours, but my husband and I have always completely enjoyed attending the Sunday morning service on Jost van Dyke... if you happen to get over there some Sunday morning (since you are there for 5 weeks!) It's a really nice taste of the island's culture, and since we only go every couple of years, we've seen children grow up in a way we never would have noticed just hanging out at a beach bar.

crdicken- we went to the Lutheran Church in Cruz Bay and the Emmaus (spelling)Morovian Church in Coral Bay. Of the 2, the Morovian Church was the most welcoming & friendliest, the Lutheran one,the Pastor didn't even welcome us and it was obvious we were visitors.
BTW we're Lutherans so prob. expected more from the Lutheran Church.
There's a Lutheran Church over on STT that is beautiful & it's history is amazing. We didn't attend service there etc.
