Booked Indigo Villa

Post by iowaguy »

After the usual villa-picking angst, we booked a brand-new villa, Indigo, from Destination St. John, for our family Spring Break 2008 trip. We're very excited---maybe we'll see you there Rick G. If anyone stays there or gets a peek of this house in-between, let me know (but I really only want to hear good comments at this point). I was amazed that a few of the villas we were interested in were already booked this far out---wow.

Still need to find a 2 BR house for our friends---they were hoping for Bongo Bongo but its reserved. Let the countdown begin.

Indigo looks nice and looks to have a sunset view from the rooftop deck. I'm sure we'll bang into each other while we are there. Just 337 days to go!

Cheers, RickG

Indigo is definately on my short list of villas to try. I am also anxious to hear more about it.

My girls want to go back next spring break again. I guess I need to start planning another trip. Oh darn!

Hey,
You might want to check out Frank Barnako's place, Blue Tang.
It's a nice 2BR and it looks to me like it's very close to Indigo. I'd bet he could tell you how close.

If they are booked that far it might be the owners they have to block off week more then a year in advance

Thanks "2Cat"---good suggestion. I'm always amazed at your knowledge of villa geography.

Rick G, the prospect of having sunset cocktails on the rooftop deck is what sold me. Hope they get the railings on so I don't fall off!

Glad to help. It's a work in progress. Thankfully, it's a harmless obsession.
Most of my info so far is on the South Shore. I've pinpointed about a hundred villas but I have a bunch more approximate locations to zero in on. We're back on St John next Friday so I'll be able to do some "field work" on it.
I have dreams of doing a "Villa Locator Map" someday. Kinda like the Hollywood "Map of the Stars" but without the stars. I'll leave Kenny off.
Good luck with the rest of the planning. 8)

What a great idea! I would be happy to help you with the North Shore portion, as we have stayed up in Catherineberg a lot.
