Congratulations, Ruth & Ron! It's coming together nicely. I like the covered area beside the pool. It's nice to be able to get out of the sun without going inside.

Thanks for posting these pics and sharing a little part of STJ for those of us with no ticker. Looks so lovely and I agree with everyone about the stonework - its beautiful and gotta have it on STJ. The landscaping looks nice too.
I don't have good interior decorating skills, so picking furniture for me is HARD and stressful. Best wishes with that!

Your "Gratefull Shed" looks fantastic. I too like the stonework but also the light colours in- and outside.

Very nice. Is this your house (to live in) or a house that you will rent out?

I can't believe port-o-potties are $400 on STJ!

Thanks, everyone!

In answer to those who inquired, we are going to be renting short-term. Hopefully not forever (maybe for just a few years), and hopefully furnished!

Next question: will it have furniture by mid-October? I still haven't found a villa that suits my fancy :)

Such nice work Ruth and Ron - we know how much time and love was put into this - what an accomplishment! Can't wait to see it finished in real life some day very soon!

There might actually be a beach day in Ron's future!!

And furniture, shmurniture, I'd sleep on the floor!
