La Plancha del Mar

Post by liamsaunt »

Starting today, La Plancha del Mar is serving brunch on the weekends. A copy of the menu was left in our villa. It sounds really good, and the prices are reasonable---ranging from $6 for toast, home fries, and eggs to $12 for eggs benedict type dishes and omelets. They are also doing salads and sandwiches which range in price from $12-16. Sandwiches come with fries. They are doing a mahi sandwich with charred tomato salsa and roasted garlic aoili that I want to try. I am too anxious to get in to the water to check it out today, but I think we will go next weekend.

The mosquitos chased us off the beach yesterday so instead of our planned picnic lunch we went over to La Plancha del Mar at the tail end of their brunch service. It was really good! I have pictures and will do a more detailed review when I am back home, but I definitely recommend it. We are already planning to go back next weekend.

Sorry to hear about the skeeters! Our last 2 trips they were bad, but especially May 09. I know you are not kidding when you say they chased you off the beach  . Hope they get better. Thanks for the updates and enjoy your vacation!
Going "home" again October 26th!

Happy vaca Becky!

I was disappointed that we didn't get a chance to try La Plancha del Mar last time we were there because we had heard so many good things. Really wanted to try that steak dish that was featured on the video. That gives me an idea....

Becky,

Have a great vacation!

My husband loved the paella at La Plancha when we were there in May. He said it was amazintg. Look forward to hearing how you like your dinner there.

Enjoy!
