We were not asked for tips on the CA ferry going to St John in March 2009.
On the way back to CA the guy who took our bags rudely demanded a tip and didn't get one. Maybe that is how our bags ended up on the bottom of the pile and we were the last ones to get them back in CA. The guys who offloaded and returned our bags to us on the dock in CA we gave a few bucks to, they were nice and not demanding.

These bagage handlers remind me of the old Samsonite commercials. One of the big reasons I rent the jeep on STT and get my bags right to the villa. Don't reward bad behaviour.
I think Jorge has turned into a Fluffy. But I digress. Or regress. Let's ALL go to St. John right now and find out. Then let's all report our findings. Ruthy! We are coming. Make up the extra beds.
