Kayaking

Post by mrscherry2000 »

Our rental has a two person kayak included. I'm guessing it's something we can strap to the jeep? (I hope I hope, don't want to walk that thing up and down Sea Grape Hill! )

Where is a good place to kayak, I was thinking Coral Harbor. Any other suggestions?

So many places!
We enjoyed kayaking at Cinammon...went around the cay, over to Peter Bay area, beached it for awhile close to there; great time!
Enjoy!

We have always had a great time at maho bay with the kayaks. It's not open to the ocean so it is very calm. Be sure to always use the tender boat lanes, when going to and from the beach. We had another couple with us and the came up to the beach beside the lane. At that moment a park ranger pulled up. He said he had to give us a 250 dollar fine for not using the boat lane. I asked if he was sure. Thats was for a boat that is in the water. This is a kayak that sits on the water not in the water. He thought about it for a moment and said he will have to get back with us. He left to go find out or 'whatever". We backed that yak fast and got the heck out of there
Its all good!
