We're in Hampton, a mile from North Beach! All the kids & nine grandchildren are within 1hr & 15 mins. Plymouth, Ashland, Sanbornville, Danville & Portsmouth, NH and Acton, ME. We're in NH 5 mos and in STX Christiansted for 7 months!
Forgot to mention, Sat on RT 16, driving to Sanbornville, a car beeped & waved (we have STX and USVI oval bumper stickers on the car). They gave us the thumbs up driving by, then slowed to behind us. Then they drove up beside us holding a hand written sign in their window, reading "C'sted" for Christiansted!! It was fun....

I watched that feature, from St John, we had left NBC on from the Macy's fireworks show the night before. It was neat to see them learning the dance on tv from the vi tourism dept, then go to the parade and see the dance performed. Jumbies were really good at the parade btw... really talented on those stilts.
It is wonderful in Hampton, especially at North Beach, BUT there is no sea breeze today and the heat index is 105°....yikes, unlike the cool tradewinds of St Croix!
