BOS - STT Non-Stop $352! January 2011, Whoooo Hooooo!

Post by pmk »

It's been majorly painful waiting for AA to come up with some non-stop flights but they've finally come, and I booked 'em!

They aren't even on Yapta yet .. not sure why.
I'm SO excited!!!!!!

Dang... I've been holding out too. But the non-stop doesn't seem to start until 12/16/10... the day that we return, so it's not going to work.

I'll wait a little longer, but I'm getting nervous.

Sounds great but be wary of AA....we had a non-stop on AA JFK-STT both ways and then a month later there were stops both ways. AA is notorious for this....just keep checking your ressie!

That's exactly what happened to our group two years ago! We booked months in advance and about a month before we went they cancelled our nonstop flight out of Boston. I told them that was NOT acceptable and that I expected them to reaccomodate my group (7 people!!) to a more convenient flight. The only reason we booked a flight out of Boston was because it was direct - it's a 2 hour drive from where we live. Then they wanted to charge us $200 more each to put us on a flight out of Connecticut with a 6 hour layover in San Juan. No thanks!!! I finally made them switch us to a nonstop flight out of JFK for the same discount price, but that was a pain!

Hope AA doesn't jack us around. For the last two years made our reservations with AA at least a month earlier for the non-stop flight, and luckily we've never had a problem.

I am so psyched - I was worried they weren't going to offer non-stop service - I booked for the last week of February - $450 each - yea!

Yes, waited for these flights also to find them yesterday morning and our dates don't qualify for any of the sale prices...almost double what other posters have gotten  ...plus we have one day of travel to Boston and one day back, hotels, parking, gas and meals. Brutal living in the willy-wags.
Hoping for a USVI ticker in 2013!
