Sweet Plantains: 2 thumbs up!

Post by Seasister »

We ate at SP in Coral Bay tonight and it was amazing! They were serving French Caribbean tonight and I had Shrimp Creole. Hubby had Beef Ribs. Both were incredible. I can't get food like that anywhere else. Kuddos to the chef and the service was great. This is a must do on StJ.

We agree. Sweet Plantains is our favorite restaurant on STJ hands down. The flavors are special and distinctive and it is always on our short list of things we have to do.

SP sounds great. We will be staying at the Westin near Cruz Bay though we will have a car. How far is the drive to Coral Bay/SP? Is it worth the drive just for dinner? If not maybe we can spend a whole day near Coral Bay ending with dinner there?

Thanks.

Maybe 1 1/2 miles from Westin to the Roundabout, then 8.25 miles up Centerline to the Coral Bay sign. Then maybe 2 miles down to Sweet Plantains. or less.
Maybe you should just spend the day on the east side and stay for dinner while you are there?
