Firkin good time

Post by RickG »

Some of you know I've been working on a brewpub project for a couple of years. We tapped our first beer at a festival yesterday. We should be open in Falls Church, Virginia by the middle of July, permits willing.

See you at the pub.

We hope to be heading your way for a college tour in a few months. If so, we'll look forward to some tasty vittles and a cold mug of brew from a Mad Fox firkin. Best of luck and much success in your new endeavor.

Good luck, Rick. We will be there for sure. Ever since Old Dominion left the neighborhood out here in Ashburn, we haven't know what to do with ourselves. I know you like Vintage 50 out in Leesburg, but it's more of a restaurant than a pub and on Fridays, we like a pub. I am sure your place will be out new favorite spot.

Since I'll be stuck on STJ in mid-July I may just have to wait until the "new kids on the block" crowds subside, but I plan on making a Mad Fox pilgrimage!

Congratulations, Rick! I wish I lived closer to you. I want the beer AND the pizza!
