uploading multiple pictures at once

Post by SOonthebeach »

Hi all- question- is there a program that allows you to upload multiple pictures at once and post them here? I have used tinypic, but I can only upload one pic at a time, unless I'm missing something. Would like to post several at once. Any tips?

I'm pretty sure that whatever service or photo hosting web site you use, you still have to copy and paste the URL code one at a time. I use picasa, and it is a little easier than tiny pic. With tiny pic you have to upload each picture and then copy the code. With Picasa, the pics are already uploaded, you just have to copy and paste the code.

I uploaded this pic using Tiny Pic and it took about twice as long as if I had done it through Picasa;

Does that help?

I agree with Bert. I don't think there's any way to post multiple pic's here at one time.

Just to be a persnickety anal technical person...

The actual uploading takes place between your computer and your photo hosting site such as Photobucket, Picassa, Webshots, TinyPic, whatever... and then you just copy and paste links to those photos into a forum post here.

I use the free version of Photobucket and it is easy to upload lost of photos at once...and it is pretty easy to copy and paste a bunch of links into the forum...and yes, I agree 100% the links are copy and pasted one at a time but it is pretty easy once they are uploaded to your favorite photo hosting site...or it is with Photobucket.

It took me about 2 minutes to copy and paste the links below...which are shown as photos...

I don't know if this will help.

First I open up two tabs in my browser. I have the VIOL window open in one, and the tinypic open in the other. I write some text in the VIOL window, then toggle over to the tinypic window, and select, upload and copy the code for my picture. Go back to the VIOL window, paste the code, and continue to write stuff.
Then do the same thing for the next picture.

I always use the preview button to make sure that how I intended it to look is actually how it looks.
