How are you???
We did 3 days after our week on STJ on Tortola & all three couples loved it.
My view is the lay of the land is much similar to STJ or more mountanious in fact. We stayed in Cane Garden Bay & loved it. I didn't find the food any higher priced than STJ, & we ate all our meals out.
Maybe split your vacation between STT & a BVI Island.
It was so cool to look at Jost from the other side:):

Hi Connie - Congrats on your 35th. We just celebrated our 30th on Peter Island. We love both STJ and the BVIs.
Peter Island is wonderful and I highly recommend it. It has beautiful scenic beaches, great snorkeling right from shore, great food, and excellent service. You feel so pampered. We normally love to drive around on STJ, but staying on PI was so relaxing without having to drive anywhere or decide where to go for dinner.
They also have a very nice spa - we had a couples massage and it was a great experience. In addition to snorkeling from Deadman's and White Bay, you can go out on the dive boat in the afternoons to different spots. We took a trip to the Indians and had a fantastic snorkel. The Dive Shop staff are great. The pool area is very nice as well, when you want a change from being sandy and salty.
We loved it there, can't wait to go back and highly recommend it. Forumite IowaGuy also went recently and he loved it too. You can read the reviews on TripAdvisor and get a pretty good feel for the place. Its a bit pricey, but check out LuxuryLink.

help us with 35th annniversary
Virgin Gorda is really great. We rented a villa called Open Deck on Mahoe Bay. A view to die for, a 30 second walk to the beach and a great house. You won't be dissapointed in my opinion. We loved it.
